The ones in the front are flatter and chewier than the ones in the back.
The ones in the front taste way better and were cooked for 10 minutes.
The ones in the back were cooked for 15 minutes. They were a little dry.
Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 cup softened butter (I used Earth Balance)
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg
1 tsp Vanilla Butternut (or just regular vanilla)
1 cup and 3 Tbsp whole wheat flour
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup cashews (unless you like lots of cashews then feel free to add more)
Cream the butter with the sugar and then add in the dry. Mix well. Then fold in the chocolate chips and cashews.
Set oven at 355F and cook for 10 minutes.
I had an entire list of things I needed to get done on Saturday.
Here are a few examples:
Read an entire chapter in my management book
Take a test over that chapter
Read an article related to a topic in that chapter
Write paper relating the article to the chapter and my everyday life
Due by midnight
Clean the bedroom where my brother would spend his last night as a bachelor
Sorry bro... no strippers
Find something to wear for the wedding
pick-up cupcakes for the wedding
Get Oscar some dog food
Make a note to get him adult instead of puppy (they grow up so fast)
Change Smelly Cat's water bowl
Oh yea... defurrize the bed that my brother will be sleeping on
Etc...
BUT! To ease the pressure... I decided to make cookies!
And then the day became a less stressful
And after making cookies I really did get all of the things done...
Well the ones that were an absolute must... but that's all that counts anyway.. right?
And now I must figure out what on Earth to do with leftover Girl Scout Cookies... besides eating them. Eating them in their original form that is.
I just know I can come up with something...
I'm working with Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, and Caramel DeLites.
I'll figure something out.
I'm going to dinner with my two bestest buddies on Saturday night and I want to share whatever it is I come up with.
Cheers!!!

Oh man no strippers LOL!!! Hope you come up with something, I love caramel delites!! I'm sure you will. You are so creative!!
